Yesterday the world became a slightly more honest place. 

In a historic vote on transparency, the European Parliament voted to adopt rules that compel all EU-listed companies as well as private companies to publish all payments over €100,000 to governments where they operate. And it's really significant, for not only will they have to publish the sums, but they also need to identify individual projects in every nation in which they do business.
