Micah Challenge Germany, Mission-net and European Evangelical Alliance with European Commissioner Jan Figel

A day in the capital city which houses the European Parliament was an exciting moment shared with a number of young passionate advocates hoping to influence policy change for real change on the ground. The European Commissioner for Education, Culture and Youth, Jan Figel, met representatives from European Alliance, Mission-net and Micah Challenge Germany, following the offering of letters which took place at Mission-net in April.  The letters appeal to the EU Development Commissioner to focus his efforts to ensure targets set by the Millennium Development Goals are met. As part of our meeting we asked Commissioner Figel to pass on the letters to the incoming Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid.
