Hunger for Justice - calling all those in Bath/Bristol area, UK!
![]()
Are you seeking to be equipped, resourced and informed in the fight to end global poverty? If the answer is yes, you are invited to two free events in Bath this March. Christian Aid's Hunger for Justice events, featuring our very own Joel Edwards as keynote speaker, will take place at Manvers Street Baptist Church on March 14th (evening celebration) and 15th (day conference).....
Joel Edwards says: "Hunger for Justice is one way to explore precisely what Jesus meant when he pronounced a blessing on all those with a holy appetite for righteousness. This kind of hunger is a great away to make sense of our worship together. Come and join in."
Organiser Anna Potts from Christian Aid said: "We want these events to provide information, encouragement and resources for church communities in our region and others who are striving for a world without poverty. "Events like these achieve much through talks, music, workshops and presentations. Most importantly, they create a space where people can meet together with and learn from others who share their vision for a just world."
The events will feature music from Bristol's Renewal Gospel Choir and Liz Baddaley, input from Christian Aid partner Haiti Survie, staff and local supporters, optional workshops focusing on a range of subjects, drop-in sessions, an exhibition, plenty of networking opportunities and more.
