MDG4: Reduce child mortality

Target 1: Reduce by two thirds, between 1990 and 2015, the under-five mortality rate.

How does MDG 4 reflect God's heart and concern?

Throughout the Bible we see that God has great compassion towards children and this is particularly the case in the life of Jesus.  Click here for a list of verses compiled by Compassion.  Mark chapter 5 is just one example of Jesus showing genuine care and concern regarding the life of a child.
